The “Drops of Knowledge” ecotourism series aims at putting in value the work done and the lessons learned, sharing materials, presentations, documents and interesting facts…fruit of Mediterranean Experience of EcoTourism journey and beyond.

This first entry focuses on Environmental Interpretation in Protected Areas, and we are glad of sharing with you a Course Manual developed for MEET by Drumm Consulting.

“Interpretation is simply an approach to communication. Most people think of it as the process through which a person translates one language into another, such as English to Spanish. Environmental interpretation involves translating the technical language of a natural science or related field into terms and ideas that people who aren’t scientists can easily understand, and doing it in such a way that’s entertaining and thought provoking…”
